Maybe my favorite show on tv right now, Hulu is streaming the season premiere of Mad Men.
I've been following the show since it started and this looks to be the most engaging seasons yet. In the past some of the plotlines have been a little obtuse, and while that'll probably continue into the new season, the premiere features the beginnings of several stories that look to be among the series' best.

Yet another Batman Post
I got a good deal on Grant Morrison's run on Batman. It's an... interesting take on the character. Take a look at the pages below to see what I mean.
Now, as ridiculous as some of that looks, it all (sort of) makes sense in context. One of the things I really enjoyed about these comics is how completely off the wall they are. Batman faces off against his 10 year old ninja son, the "three ghosts of batman," and an individual who may or may not be the Devil. I like a realistic take on Batman as much as the next guy, but sometimes it's fun to see him face an army of ninja bat mutants in a Pop-art museum.

Fun with Computers
This is a fan-made music video. The fan in question is an animator, but this is still pretty remarkable.

Inception
Chris Nolen's follow up to The Dark Knight...
Obviously this is just a teaser, but I think it looks really interesting. This whole production has been extraordinarily secretive so I have no idea what to expect. I'm getting a Matrix-y kinda vibe from the teaser (and I mean that in a good way) but given who is involved, I'm sure it'll be incredibly cerebral.
Of course, I want what everyone else wants... a sequel to The Dark Knight (though filming a full adaption of The Dark Knight Returns is probably impossible). In the meantime, this looks like something to look forward to.

Why am I doing this exactly?
I'm (mostly) kidding, but this is still a little disheartening. Also, I make less than average in a place where the cost of living is well above average. Ridiculous.

Otocinclus batmani
If you are wondering why this fish is named after Batman, take a look at the tail. If you are still wondering, remember that people with phD's are generally giant nerds. If you are wondering why I am posting about a fish named after Batman, I'm guessing we've never met before. Welcome to my blog.
Os Gêmeos
Apparently Gabriel Ba and Fabio Moon have some competition for the title of coolest Brazilian artists who also happen to be brothers.
Twin brothers Otavio and Gustavo Pandolfo (known together as Os Gêmeos) are graffiti artists whose work (legal and otherwise) is commonly seen around São Paulo. Apparently they also have an exhibition in New York City. I quite like the little of their work I've been able to see online. Reminds me a lot of Hieronymus Bosch. Count this as something I post about just because I think it's kind of neat.
More here.
