Counterpoint

I just spent 2 days working on a single line of code to do something incredibly simple.  What makes this even better is that it turns out that Matlab has a function that will do the same thing automatically.

Sometimes Grad School is not so bad.

Tonight for dinner we made braised venison (marinated in red wine with rosmary and cumin) with garlic Parmesan mashed potatoes and sautéed broccoli with garlic and pine nuts. 

Dessert consisted of roasted apple halves with cinnamon, nutmeg, brown sugar, and oats.  With vanilla ice cream (of course).

It was all glorious.

Nothing says comics like Batman's son, the original Robin, and the British versions of Batman and Robin (the Knight and the Squire, obviously) bringing Batman back to life using a magical lava pit... a lava pit that turns people (Especially Batmans and Robins) EVIL.
