Meetings

I just had an hour and a half meeting with my adviser in which we discussed my thesis, my post-doc, and my eventual career.

Because I don't have enough to worry about.

Finals

Just as we've skipped Spring and gone straight from Winter to Summer, my semester has seemingly gone straight from mid-terms to finals. Combine that with my research picking up and the result is no blog updates for over a week.

Eventually I'll find some time to write about my trip to Ann Arbor, cognitive contol of memory, or Long Island in the Summer... until then it'll be youtube videos and random other stuff.

Robots Invade New York!!

While I'm currently raging against the machine trying to get a ton of programming done by Friday, NYU students are apparently helping little robots navigate a park.



Apparently this is a social experiment by a student at NYU about empathy or somsuch nonsense. The scientific basis and validity of this experiment seem a bit sketchy to me. However, robots are awesome... so there is that to consider.
