This movie is like a mediocre cover band doing James Cameron's greatest hits. There is some good stuff here, but it's buried amongst so much incomprehensible, hackneyed filmmaking that the whole thing is just boring and predictable.
The trailer below basically gives away the entire movie. However, it's a lot more tightly edited and plotted than the actual film. Watch at your own risk.

Ponyo
Word is this is more geared towards children compared to Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke. Although given that it's Studio Ghibli, I'm sure it'll be worth seeing.

This is terrible.
Although I had very little contact with him, Dr. Carr was one of my friend's advisers. His office was right around the corner from mine, so I often heard him having very animated conversations with his students and other faculty at all times of the day and night.
